This magnet attaches to the back of the reel, which then enables the reel to be used with metal structures such as structural steel, steel studs, steel machinery, & many other steel materials. The magnet has a 38 lb pull & is very strong! A bolt screw holds the magnet to the reel; it can also detach for regular use as well.
