  The Sloyd Knife's versatility allows you to use it for a wide range of wood carving projects from detail work to roughing. Use it to shave bark or use its fine tip for eyes, noses, mouths, hair, facial details, &accent parts on caricatures and animals. The 2-7/8" blade is thick along its spine &the core is made of high-carbon steel which results in a very hard edge for superior edge retention. For added strength, the tang of each knife extends completely through the handle. There's no flex in the blade - which makes it sturdy &extremely reliable. The rigidness &size of the blade allows for deep cuts &markings. The handle is made of beautifully conditioned cherry hardwood &each one comes with a custom, 100% leather sheath featuring a built-in belt clip. The sheath ensures long-lasting blade protection &makes for easy transport.
